Diplomacy is shallow. Economy is shallow. Battles are slow. (Im used to starcraft 2 and such) There is also no real development. Just war and conquest. (True to the series name) Finally. Battles are shallow. I expect more out of RTS combat. There is no flanking ability. No feinting. Many tactics are simply un-usuable due to instant commands and omnipotance. The only real tactics is army combinations and formations.
